The Waisenhaus charity builds a new mother-child-house in Riedberg.

Building starts on fourth child care facility in Riedberg. Building starts on day-care centre in Schöne Aussicht.

A pavilion facility is being set up in Altkönigblick to care for 84 children from age 3 to 6. The child care centre is being built as part as part of Riedberg's urban development measures. It is a temporary facility in order to meet the acute and sizeable demand for child care places at the moment.

Riedberg Christmas Market on the 10th and 11th of December 2011

It was time for the Riedberg Christmas Market again on the 10th and 11th of December. Mulled wine, delicious food and crafts helped to create a festive atmosphere. There was also information about 2011 in Riedberg on show.

Riedberg continues to grow

Bien-Ries from Hanau started selling properties belonging to the ambitious new building complex in Riedberg in November. The group are planning to build around 200 apartments on a 20,000 square metre site in three different phases. The project, which has an investment volume of around 65 million Euro will be located in Schöne Aussicht between Kalbacher Höhe, Konrad-Zuse-Strasse and Im Kreuzegut. The first phase encompassing 75 apartments will begin in the summer of 2012.

More day care centres in Riedberg

As part of the urban development program at Riedberg, there will be a new day care centre. The new centre is being built on a site around 2,800 square metres in size, located in 'Altkönigblick' on Martin-Niemöller Straße. When completed it will offer space for around 93 children. It will be the ninth child care facility in Riedberg and the second in Altkönigblick. Building started on the 21st of November and it should be completed in December next year.
