The new ice cream parlour "LaPiazza" opened on Riedbergplatz just in time for the summer. It is bright and stylish inside. A large spiral design element catches your eye in the centre of the room. The international character of the neighborhood is reflected in a wall element that depicts the word "ice cream" in around 30 languages. The terrace offers 48 seats where guests can sit outside when the weather is fine. The ice cream parlour that Francesco Palermo runs as a family business with his father, Calogero is another highlight in the wide range of restaurants and cafés in Riedberg: from Café Wacker, to "Park Avenue" restaurant and café, to the Italian restaurant "Isola Bella".
